IVUS Imaging Procedure

At Swastham Heart Care, we use the IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound) procedure to provide detailed, real-time images of the inside of your coronary arteries. This advanced imaging technology helps our cardiologists see beyond traditional angiography and understand the exact nature and severity of arterial blockages.

IVUS involves a tiny ultrasound probe mounted on a catheter that is gently inserted into the blood vessel. It captures cross-sectional images of the artery from inside, allowing precise assessment of plaque build-up, artery size, and the effectiveness of stent placement.
